Brief
The Condé Nast Media Group tasked Four32c to develop the digital component to their landmark program with LG Electronics. This first iteration featured film director, Edward Zwick and Four32c was responsible for the design, Flash production, digital photography, video content direction and copy for both the new website and the super rich media ads.
Process and Recommendations
The two month, bi-costal process started with wireframes in New York City, two photo shoots in California and production back in New York.
The California photo shoots took place on remote location outside of Los Angelese and in Zwick's Santa Monica office. Four32c specifically handled the still life shoot in Zwick's office and additional atmosphere shots on location. The photographer Jonas Karlsson did a beautiful job of shooting Zwick for the print campaign.
Back in New York while photography was being retouched, we were designing the site and working with the video editors. When the Korean office signed off on the designs we had about two weeks to code the site, link in social networking features, create a custom Flash video player and develop a complete Eyeblaster ad campaign.
Results
The unique qualities of this project were documented in this New York Times article. This was a thrilling project to work on with Condé Nast, LG, Mindshare and Publicis Modem all participating. With the success of this first venture two more would follow that year. The next project would feature luminary chef Nobu Matsuhisa. And the third, famed fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez.
“The creative work is brilliant, and I consider Mark a true partner. From ideation to execution, FOUR32C is full service, and most importantly, 100% available to our team and our client partners. I am so proud of the work that we have done together. ”
