Brief

Spotlight Mobile (our friends since working with them on the Style.com app during our Condé Nast years) asked us to design the Barnes & Noble Bookstore app. Working with the Internet's largest bookstore was a great opportunity. And the app became one of the most popular apps in the iTunes app store.

Process and Recommendations

The official Barnes & Noble app is the ideal store companion for book lovers who want quick and easy access to the world of books. Users can use their iPhone's camera to search and shop for millions of books, DVDs, or music CDs-plus browse every item offered in B&N's online store.

Other features include a store locator and unique video content, author interviews and bookseller recommendations.

Results

The B&N Bookstore app reached number one in popularity and continues to be a very popular app in the iTunes App Store.
